What is the opinion of the learned scholars (muftis) about the situation in which two parties agrees to fulfil a contract of buying and selling. Later one party refuses to fulfill his part of the contract and also provides two false witnesses against the contract. The two witnesses represents false testimony. What is the compensation due on the witnesses who represented the false testimony?

As-salÄmu ‘alaykum wa -rahmatullÄhi wa -barakÄtuh.
Lying and presenting false testimony are considered big sins therefore the witnesses should repent and seek forgiveness from Allah swt abundantly.
"(الیمین Ø¨Ø§Ù„Ù„Û Ø«Ù„Ø§Ø«Ûƒ انواع) غموس:ÙˆÚ¾Ùˆ الØÙ„٠علی اثبات شیء او Ù†ÙÛŒÛ ÙÛŒ الماضی،او Ø§Ù„ØØ§Ù„ یتعمد الکذب ÙÛŒÛ ØŒÙÚ¾Ø°Û Ø§Ù„ÛŒÙ…ÛŒÙ† یأثم Ùیھا ØµØ§ØØ¨Ú¾Ø§ØŒÙˆØ¹Ù„ÛŒÛ Ùیھا Ø§Ù„Ø§Ø³ØªØºÙØ§Ø± والتوبۃ دون Ø§Ù„Ú©ÙØ§Ø±ÛƒÛ”" (الھندیۃ: 2/52)
