What is the opinion of the learned scholars (muftis) about the situation in which two parties agrees to fulfil a contract of buying and selling. Later one party refuses to fulfill his part of the contract and also provides two false witnesses against the contract. The two witnesses represents false testimony. What is the compensation due on the witnesses who represented the false testimony?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salÄmu ‘alaykum wa -rahmatullÄhi wa -barakÄtuh.
Lying and presenting false testimony are considered big sins therefore the witnesses should repent and seek forgiveness from Allah swt abundantly.
"(الیمین Ø¨Ø§Ù„Ù„Û Ø«Ù„Ø§Ø«Ûƒ انواع) غموس:ÙˆÚ¾Ùˆ الØل٠علی اثبات شیء او Ù†ÙÛŒÛ ÙÛŒ الماضی،او الØال یتعمد الکذب ÙÛŒÛ ØŒÙÚ¾Ø°Û Ø§Ù„ÛŒÙ…ÛŒÙ† یأثم Ùیھا صاØØ¨Ú¾Ø§ØŒÙˆØ¹Ù„ÛŒÛ Ùیھا الاستغÙار والتوبۃ دون الکÙارۃ۔" (الھندیۃ: 2/52)
